The wind is at Honda’s back right now. The Japanese automaker has been going from strength to strength recently. Truck-wise, the Ridgeline is better than ever. Its sedan models are killing it too. The Accord is an incredible commuter car, the Honda Civic Si is an incredible FWD performance car, and despite some controversy, people can’t wait for the Acura Integra.
Now, the wind is also at Honda’s front, with the opening of the brand’s new $124 million wind tunnel. The purpose of this multi-million dollar fan is to, per Honda, usher “in a new era of development testing capabilities for Honda and Acura products, as well as the company’s race vehicles.” That’s pretty cool but not as cool as the name of the facility it’s located in, the Honda Automotive Laboratories of Ohio, or HALO.
